Review: Best Service Hotel UAE| Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa

Rotana Fujairah 5 star hotel

Did you know that you don’t have to leave UAE to experience a fun and relaxing holiday? Of course you wouldn’t like to spend so much time in the airport queuing. So before you book your next holiday abroad make sure to try checking out holiday places in the UAE – it is worth it!

As lovely as ever my partner prepared a birthday surprise! We took off last Thursday afternoon after work and head far north of UAE.  All I’m aware is that we are going north. Then there will be a pool or beach because I brought swimwear. I was getting really excited as we get farther and farther. It was quite a long drive though not to mention the traffic. Then suddenly we stopped at Fujairah!

He booked a 3 night stay in one of the highly rated hotel resort in Fujairah. The 5 star Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa! It is located in Aqah  and is close to Le Merridean hotel.

It’s supposed to be 2 hour drive but we were caught up by rush hour traffic so we arrived a little longer. The place is not what I expected, it is more than I’ve expected!

The Service

The staff are amazing! They seemed to be really enjoying their job. It’s a relax environment. Some are dancing just to be cheery and fun. Most of the time they will greet and ask if you need anything or how you are doing. We like Joker the barista at Sharkey’s he makes amazing cocktails plus he let us take a picture of the Puffer fish so we have created the hashtag #pufferfishselfie (see below photo) Also, Sujith the bellboy he’s very nice and helpful!

The Food

We took the package inclusive of food and drinks so makes it worth getting what we pay for. It definitely gave me a bit of weight for a span of 3 nights! It’s a buffet of breakfast, lunch and dinner! The food was amazing. There’s plenty of varities to choose from.  I love the breakfast buffet – omelette!

The Amenities

The room was always neat and clean. Cleaners knock on your door to ask if you need anything which is v good and make sure you have what you need. We asked for a charger for samsung and they immediately send it to ours. Only shows how attentive they are! They have a spa, kids play area, pool (billiards), mini pool for the kids and so much more.

The Activities

They have an independent shop called Adventure Sports that offers fishing trips, water sports activities such as parasailing, wakeboard, banana ride etc.

Feedback

The only downside that we encounter is that the WIFI access is not for free. They charge 30 dirhams an hour which is quite a bit too much! The door lock is hard to open using the access card. Takes you awhile to swipe back in forth. So far it has been an amazing experience!

So if you’re planning on getting away from the city for a chill out time  consider Fujairah Rotana as one of your list!

Good to know, as I’ll be visiting soon! Glad to see you had a great time and yes, it’s a shame hotels and most places still charge for Wi-Fi or there’s no access to it.

Thanks Jasmine! That’s one of the main issue that UAE needs to take care asap. They wouldn’t want to drive tourist away 🙂
