If you pass through Sheikh Zayed road by metro or by car you have probably noticed the big yellow sign “Lemonade” just beside Emirates station. My first impression is that the place serves drinks and snacks because of its name but actually there’s more to that.
We took the metro and stopped at Emirates station. It was quiet when we got in maybe because we were a bit early for dinner. I was really impressed with its modern/trendy atmosphere. A huge monitor is placed on the far end of the restaurant. The staff are nice and friendly and seems to be very knowledgeable with the menu. It is a canteen-style restaurant where you have to pick your order and they will hand it and you pay to the counter. We ordered three vegetable dishes: Avocado and cherry tomatoes, Watermelon radish with ahi tuna, Kale and mushroom.
Then after consuming the veggies, the staff gave us our next order which is the hot food. Lamb Tagine for Ricky and BBQ Brisket for me with tasty vegetables on the side. The portion is big for me – as always. Since we love sharing food the idea of mezze appeals very much for us not to mention the food are healthy too!
We paid around 100 dirhams using our Entertainer voucher which is a very good value. We really enjoyed our food and we look forward to revisit Lemonade soon.
They also have a branch in Ibn Batuta. Here’s their menu.
