MOre Cafe | Mall of the Emirates

I am one lucky girl to win Pear Tree Diaries‘ contest courtesy of mOre Cafe. It was a great experience to visit mOre again – one of my favourite restaurants in Dubai.

mOre Cafe is a Dubai born brand that has successfully established itself among the top cafes here. For twelve years they have continued to expand throughout Dubai and I look forward to seeing them take the concept all over the Gulf region.

I love the unique decor purple colour. It stands out and really represents mOre Cafe.

I can still remember how well we were treated by their staff – the service is fantastic! So let’s get down to business…

For our starter we ordered the tomato, basil and mozzarella soup. It came in a huge pot alongside a plate of brown bread and butter.

The soup had a wonderful tomatoey taste with a nice blend of pesto but the highlight for me was the chunks of mozarella which melted in your mouth. It’s a great value for only 39 dirhams which is good for 4 people.

The Fish and Chips once again was good the fish was light and fluffy on the inside which contrasts the crispy butter on the outside it came with a creamy tartare sauce which I like and the potato wedges that came along with it are very nice with a unique coating with cinamon powder.

The Lasagna tastes like traditional homemade lasagna with almost Mediterranean twist to it. mOre really takes traditional recipes and give them a unique taste.

We really enjoyed it – while cleaning our plates we were still able to manage a little space on our bellies and an amount leftover from our voucher so we decided to try refreshing desserts.

Our friendly waiter recommend we try the Lemon Mint Sorbet. This turned out to be the perfect choice it was very refreshing light and tasty it also came with a sweet and crunchy wafer.

Overall we had another great experience at mOre Cafe. This was our first time at the MOE branch and in our experience we recommend you try their different branches with friendly staff in a unique environment.
