Where To Book Cheap Flights in UAE

Five more weeks and I’ll be on my first European holiday! Eeek – so excited! I’m so thrilled after I received my visa last month. I covered the process of obtaining my visa in a separate blog post.

As part of the holiday preparation I have been researching for the best flight deals to Europe. I have checked Skyscanner (my usual travel site) and searched for cheap flights from Dubai to Amsterdam and Italy to Dubai for October. The average for all flights was about AED 6,182 with two passengers. I thought it was quite expensive until I came across Travelstart. Two lovely ladies from Travelstart, Francesca and Zoha walked me through the process of selecting the best deal for me. The same trip amounted to only AED 4,748. In the end we saved AED 1,434, which we were really happy with.

Travelstart Find MeA Break

For fellow Filipinos like myself booking a flight to Europe is something that can have many complications. In order to apply for our visa, which is not guaranteed, they expect us to have already booked our flights. So what if our visa is denied!? This is where I was impressed with Travelstart. As they are based in Dubai and deal with individuals like me, they have included a product called Visa Denied service. For a reasonable fee they will refund your flight if your visa is denied. Flexi Ticket is another frequently used product of Travelstart. Upgrading to a flexible ticket allows you to make 1 FREE date change to your booking, subject to same fare class availability and gives you the ability to enjoy greater freedom should something unforeseen happen.

Travelstart often runs promotions on their Travel Essentials, which can give travelers the opportunity to avail the products for discounted rates.

As a new organization operating in the UAE, I was really impressed with their personal service. Of course most importantly they have very competitive rates and were the cheapest I could find for my flights. They also offer a variety of payment options like depositing cash through Al Ansari Exchange as well as Home Cash Collection.

Overall I was very impressed with Travelstart and I definitely recommend including them in your plans when you’re shopping for your next flight!
